13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Dan and Casey,
First i just want to encourage you that one of the first thoughts that went through my head is "what a strong little baby!" He or She is a strong little prince/princess warrior in there- how beautiful that you can see your baby's movements and hear a strong heartbeat. Indeed, that baby is a fighter, and i love that about him/her! Also, i loved when you wrote "I am a mommy." Indeed you are a mommy and Dan a daddy. By God's grace He has enabled you both to love this little baby so well for so long!
Secondly the passage that God laid on my heart was Jn. 9:1-3, "As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?' Jesus answered, 'It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.'"
I love this truth-Dan and Casey, your baby was purposefully created that the works of God might be displayed in him/her. Thus we cry out together, "God this baby was created to show us your glory. Show us HOW this baby will display your wonderful works."
We love, love, love you and are praying for you tons.

Stephen and I will be praying for you. We have been in a very similar place that hurts like crazy. The fear, the questions, emotions, etc. I will share with you a passage that Pastor Dwayne shared with us when Katelyn was in PICU and also at her funeral that comforted us then and continues to this day. Isaiah 43: 1-3. God is by your side through this. He may feel far away at times but know He is holding you. Please let us know if we can do anything. We are great listeners! We are praying for healing though and that Baby Chappell will be fine and healthy. God is a miracle worker! Love always,
Kell

Casey and Dan,
We want you both to know we are praying for you both and for your little one. This is one of those times that you turn to the Lord even more for strength, comfort and wisdom. We know that God is in control and knows all things. I can't imagine the feelings you are both having right now. Keep your focus on God, the Creator of all things. Much love to you both!

Hey guys,
Kristin and I just wanted to let you know that we are praying for you and love you. We are so sorry to hear about the news of your baby and pray for the Lord to bring you much comfort and peace. Please feel free to call or e-mail if you need to talk. I know we have not been through what you are going through, but our two miscarriages give us a little window into suffering.
God bless,
mike
